When generation is in place I wonder what distribution they would use angry hope not all those existing transformers which blows up at every slight power surge undecided

Hopefully, before then, we would have gotten our distribution right to a large extent

not taking anything away from pmb, but pmb simply went to sign an agreement that had been in place since early 2015...


the initial cost of the project was about $4b, but there were issues with financing which made the FG drop the initial agreement with a Chinese firm...


such contracts don't just happen... so its more like kudos to pmb for not throwing away the earlier ground work.

Rough math $5.6billion x 10 % yield, $560 million x 85% $476million every year Or do we think China are a charity

The 85% China is putting in is actually a lone. Don't see where the idea of profit comes in. They will mostly benefit by exporting to Nigeria the expertriate that will do the work and possibly different materials that will be used, especially if Nigeria can't cash in on the opportunity and make materials available locally
