Engineering Manager Job Summary He is responsible for leading and supervising a team of engineers as they develop, test, modify, and create solutions to technical problems. Primary Responsibilities 1. Direct and coordinate production, operations, quality assurance, testing, or maintenance in industrial plants. 2. Oversee the research and development of new products and procedures. 3. Hire, train, and mentor other engineers and supporting staff. 4. Write performance reviews and solve internal issues. 5. Discuss and lay out project specifications. 6. Make detailed plans to accomplish goals. 7. Review, approve, or modify product designs. 8. Prepare budgets, bids, and contracts. 9. Negotiate research contracts. 10. Approve expenditures. 11. Review and recommend contracts. 12. Coordinate activities of unit with other units or organizations. Requirements 1: Minimum of Bsc in any engineering field of study 2: Versatile in computer operations 3: Excellent inter personal skills 4: Good team and organization skill 5: Sound communication skill 6: Must reside within Lagos.
