THEY ARE ASLEEP
Where art thou leaders of tomorrow
Do you still suck at thy mothers breast
When your father anticipates your rivalry
Are you still asleep in silence
When your father's voice commands injustice.

Do you only know how to like and follow
When your world awaits your lead
Do you still Facebook all your focus, Trying to see how your face looks
You still tweet failure while we wait
She bemoans for freedom from the touch of the depraved old man.

Are you lakunle too erudite you ignore the jewel
Yet allow a baale be the lion
You only talk active on the media
Believing you are social,
But the fragrance of your speech is local
You are talkatives yet have no vocals.

Your thoughts are wiser to lead
Yet you communicate negation of time, You forget yesterday was once tomorrow,
Dreams remain packed piled in a cart,
Dumped in the warehouse of disappointment.

Awake before it becomes too late, Death is the final destination,
A fate everyone must face,
Thoughts should drop dreaming pillows, Works should pop wishful balloons.

Leaders of tomorrow slumbers off their future
Tutors become students forget soon our culture
Our tongues only speak profanity of the future
Forgetting we are the products to the reactions,
Inquisitively are we growing tall or we are growing up.
