What's the difference between an imported dog e.g Caucasian and the one we have here?

An imported Caucasian will most likely have a pedigree, the ones here mostly don't have a pedigree.

There's a misconception of the term "PEDIGREE"
PEDIGREE is just simply referring to documents supporting or to show the bloodlines of a particular breed of dog. Now when one says I have a "pedigree* dog know that the person moreso is likely to mean I have a "PURE" dog with a registered bloodline and anyone claiming to have "PEDIGREE" must be ready to provide those documents. You can either have a dog from PURE parents from different bloodlines having their "PEDIGREE" documents or MIXED parents from different bloodlines still having their "PEDIGREE" documents. "PEDIGREE" is moreso like a document detailing"BLOODLINE" in hierarchical order. Hope you get?

In a professional sense, it shouldn't be called a pedigree.

A pedigree dog must be documented, if a male per mates a female ped, d Pups should also be registered to make them pedigree Pups, else dey will be tagged "Pups from pedigree parents" but if a ped male mates a non ped female, registration of d Pups might be difficult cos dere is no documentation of d bloodline of d female up to 4 generations bk, so d Pups will be tagged "Non ped" ND sometimes just to show one of parent is pedigree, they say "from pedigree father". Pups might be pure but are not pedigree
