You may need to create an MX record where you got domain name and set up a mail server to pick up mails sent to you.

Login to your CPanel. From there you would see the section for email, which allows you create and manage your webmails (i.e name@domainname.com).

It's a very simple thing to do.

Just log in to your hosting cpanel and go to the email section.

Create new email and enjoy.

But most times it's easier said than done.
