Job description:

We are building a global ecommerce “meta-platform” on which a growing community of innovators can build almost any imaginable sort of ecommerce solution, and on which anyone can be anything they want to be: consumers, merchants, referral partners, tech support for merchants, and of course…developers!

Working from our Lagos office, you will be helping the engineering team to build an extensive set of APIs (using microservices) to support a diverse range of use cases in the ecommerce and Fintech spaces. Some of our APIs and apps are already in use by a number of major corporates. You will be joining our team and bringing with you the following characteristics:


Skills & requirements:

Essential
• Interested in Java SE, JavaScript, PHP or .Net and backend development.
• Interested in:
o automated testing - unit testing, integration testing and functional testing.
o continuous integration and delivery.
o microservices.
• Familiar with integrating apps with RESTful APIs.
• Familiar with working collaboratively with other developers with a distributed version control system - git/Bitbucket/GitHub, branching/merging/PRs/resolving conflicts.
• Experience and comfort working in an agile and collaborative environment.

Desirable
• Experience with Spring Boot/Express frameworks
• Supervising and mentoring a team of developers
• Pair-programming with colleagues
