For any action to be called a sin;
First, the matter must be serious, be it your thought, words or actions

Secondly, you must know that what you’re doing is wrong, that is, you cannot sin through ignorance

Finally, you cannot commit a sin unless you freely choose that action or omission against the will of God. So you cannot be made to commit a sin by force and neither can you commit a sin in your sleep, no matter how evil the dream might be

From experience there are about 3 types of dreams:
1. Direct revelation: this one has nothing to do with one's thought and actions while awake. One just have to pray as may be necessary.
2. Regurgitation of thoughts and actions : it's just the memory recycling previous experiences. movies and thoughts just before sleeping affects that.
3. Manipulations: this is the one where you may find yourself doing things contrary to your faith. This could mean demonic programming to do the thing in physical. Or you may find yourself being harassed by strange entities. You just counter the manipulation by reading and understanding the scriptural basis of your freedom in Christ and praying accordingly.
