@joomlaman: Thanks for the links. I've had a look at those documents and the one that partains to what I need is the doc contained in Link1. Most of those services that involve first typing a star then a series of numbers (usually three digits) then followed by a hash or star , e.g *123# , are in fact USSD based services. Im building a mobile airline ticketing service for my client using Java and it is based on USSD . I would like to know how does one got about applying for USSD short codes from the GSM networks ?
