PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLER (PLC) for Industrial Automation Training is ongoing

A lot of people still do not know what Industrial Automation is all about. I have put this information together to enlighten people and provide solution for people that are interested in the field.
Industrial automation is the use of control systems such as computers or robots, and information technologies for handling different processes and machineries in an industry to replace a human being.
In the industries today, Programmed machines (Robots) do most things that human beings are meant to do and one of the devices used to actualize such is the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). The fact is that many engineers in our country and some other countries do not have the technical skills required to troubleshoot and maintain a PLC and other industrial automation equipment (sensors, actuators etc). Many industries are forced to bring in expertrate (PLC engineer/Automation engineer) from overseas to troubleshoot a very simple problem which can be easily solved by someone who has the technical skill. You can acquire the required skill to troubleshoot and maintain PLC systems in the industries at our training centre. People that have PLC/Industrial automation skills are not much in our country now, it will be an advantage for any engineer or science inclined student who have the passion to learn the skill. Automation is the future.
Our PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLER for Industrial Automation training is a good start for anyone (electrical/electronics, computer, mechanical engineer) who want to go into the field of automation. It is an important course for engineers in the industries where PLC is used for process automation.
Our training is hands-on/practical based. We have live PLCs and other industrial automation equipment such as contactors, overload relay, sensors etc for students to practice with. The training covers both PLC wiring and programming of both SIEMENS and MITSUBISHI PLC using LADDER LOGIC, sensors and actuators, troubleshooting etc.

Course contents include:
1. Introduction to Industrial Automation
2. PLC and its  application
3. PLC modules/parts
4. PLC types and manufacturers
5. Sensors and switches
6. Actuators/Output devices
7. Sourcing and sinking rules in PLC wiring
8. PLC programming using LADDER LOGIC
9. MCC (Motor Control Center) and Control Panel
10. PLC troubleshooting

PRACTICALS/PROJECTS include both simulation and real life
implementation of various industrial processes/automation such as:
-Basic motor control
-Product counter and control
-Basic level control
-Conveyor Operation control
-Traffic light etc.
Office/Training centre: 106, Ikorodu Road, Fadeyi B/stop. Yaba. Lagos.
