Good evening dear readers and fellow Windows Phone Users. I need your help on how to properly facebook. For some time now,I haven't been able to click on my notifications or even message others. The 'Messenger' app isn't even working. I read it's no longer enabled and accessible from my phone. The 'Facebook' app misbehaves too despite being updated. I also have the current Windows 8.1 OS so I'm unaware of what's wrong. Is it just me,or is it a general problem? If so,what do I do to fix it?

I use a Microsoft Lumia 430 model. Thanks in advance smiley smiley

It could be an O.S. issue. I use two (same model) Lumia phones: One runs on Win 8.1. , the other Win 10... I have the problems you outlined here on the Win 8.1. while the Win 10 model iis without a hitch.

Check if your os is still supported by Facebook. Besides Microsoft has abandoned windows phone os, you should get of that ship too.

If you want more, I can give you. They promised to provide security patches and bug fixes, they will support the os but don't expect any new features or hardwares anymore. And this won't last for long, maybe 2 years and they won't provide support again.

. Don't worry. I'll upgrade soon. But I doubt Microsoft has actually abandoned Windows although there's A LOT of work to be done. I just need to update my FB status and send some messages.

Modified: Just read through the links. Wow,this shit is crazy. Switching to Android as soon as possible.
