Those that have committed effort and energy to impoverish Ndiigbo will have no gain at the end of te day becos their effort will be futile.

We are moving to a second international terminal at Nsukka to compliment the University of Nigeria.

This is no longer a regional govt. Each state now has their capital, there is nothing like regional capital, it is none existent. Port Harcourt is even more positioned to be the capital of eastern region if we are to go by regions because it has a very strong economic power. But its not happening since each state now have their capital cities. PH International airport is serving the SE and SS. Shouting on NL from now till next 50yrs will not change anything.

This is the same structure in Port Harcourt and same size

It was completed ahead of the Airport in Port Harcourt, Lagos and Abuja.

It is the first international terminal building in the SE, just interior remains.

We have moved on to international terminal two building.

Re: . by hammerF: 9:46am On Oct 19, 2018
Port Harcourt has nothing to offer Ndiigbo.

Igbos have land.

Port harcourt is more beneficial to the landless Ijaws.

They can delay it but our beatiful first international terminal stands deviantely finished at Enugu.

Their Ph airport antics will end with Amaechi foray into national politics , and from now onwards, we would maintain close watch on those dubious entities.

These are the only international airports in Nigeria, other airports are local state airports.

You will always be able to separate real Anambra people from online impostors because. Real Onye Anambra though naturally full of confidence in his town and Anambra identity, which often rub off other Igbos as arrogance, will always fight fiercely for the benefit of Igboland, because an Anambra person is a proud Igbo man.
When a person who supposedly claim to be from Anambra is never found engaging in e-fight with many Igbophobic entities from SW on this forum who are usually out to denigrate Ndiigbo(including Anambra) , but instead always found hiding behind Anambra to insult Ndiigbo.
When a supposedly Anambra man would have Igboland underdeveloped, while vital infrastructure are sited away from Igboland and diverted to foreign hostile lands.

Then know that you are dealing with a real impostor.

With the above arrangements FG will not spend a dime on any other airport in Nigeria outside these ones, even if an Igbo man becomes the president. cheesy

Any state that needs an international airport should go and develop it on its own. If your state economy can support an international airport then borrow and build one.

This is why other states like Ebonyi envy us but truth be told, Ebonyi will only fight for Ebonyi, same Imo and Abia but Anambra is a regional power.

Enugu is the aviation hub of the entire Eastern region and not Port Harcourt.

From Enugu to Aba , if the road is well maintained, will be Maximum of 3hrs journey, 3hrs is even much, but we can work with it.

Enugu to the rest of major SE towns and cities is not far either.

Yes, Enugu is the Aviation hub of the Eastern region. The SS can choose between Calabar, Bini and Ph. Good on them.

The way our people travel alot, if we get AIIA working, it will be massive.

Since we can't have Sea coastlines, our next best target is to highly advance and position our region as the biggest airhub in the west Africa.
It's achievable. It starts with having a resolve.

The best option is to start working on the eastern railway line and make it principal airport shuttle for both cargo and person.

A ring road will also be a good idea along side coach serves and taxi.

Road maintenance should be state govenment priority and money claimed from Federal government.

Anambra will always prioritise Igbo interest.
This is why other states like Ebonyi envy us but truth be told, Ebonyi will only fight for Ebonyi, same Imo and Abia but Anambra is a regional power.

How can you be sure about this.

How many Ebonyi people have been in positions of authority to re write the story of Igboland? Not many of them.
The Ebonyi commoners I know are very patriotic to Igbo nation. Ebonyi state is an IPOB stronghold, and this only stems from how these people love Igboland. They had been derided and insulted by naive and ignorant ones amongst us, some even question their right to claim Igbo, because of the divergence of their dialects to Igbo Izugbe, yet these lots are proudly Igbos. I think you are being a bit unfair to them here.
Remember that the only well positioned Ebonyi man, Mazi Akanu Ibiam, who incidentally, the Enugu international Airport is named after, relinquished her British national awards, in protest against Britain for their role in the Biafran war.
Dick Tiger, an Igbo man from Imo state, AmaIgbo precisely, gave up an illustrious boxing career to come home and fight for Biafra.

Do not belittle their big contributions to the welfare of Igboland with such unfair remarks.

Let's not play into the hands of our enemies who have been working steadfastly to break the things that hold us together, have us fall apart, so that they can foist their own interests on us.
Notice how one of them claim that Ph airport should serve SE/SS, while at the same time, claiming that there are nolonger regional arrangements, that all states should build their own airport, but get mad when we tell him that Ph will serve Rivers people only( Ijaw and Ikwerre). grin

Notice how they work tirelessly to pitch all SE states against each other here, to prevent us from standing as a single entity. To conquer a people, you must first divide them. It's straight up from the old power play book.
They work so hard to emphasize on our state identities and de-emphasize on our Igbo unity tag, they have been on this mission from day 1 on this thread. They probably think they are wise, using multiple monikers to claim multiple SE states and then attack each other.
It's all too hilarious. These people don't seem to understand how the Igbo mindset work, if they do, they wouldn't be wasting their MBs on such useless ventures that can't even work online, let alone off line. The Igbo current identity is one forged with the blood of our fallen heroes in Biafra and our shared sufferings post Biafra, because of the Igbo tag. If anyone think they could use meaningless Nigerian military junta creations called states to divide Ndiigbo, the person is on a long thing.
