Going by this rhyme, eyin adie adele simply means the last egg that failed to hatch when incubated by the mother hen. It is better known as 'eyin obu' in Yoruba, or the blighted egg. According to the nursery rhyme, the mother hen used that to keep the nest occupied till next season.
