it is not God that takes you to hell,but rather satan does.But satan is so cunning and makes it look as if God is the one taking people to hell.God created hell for satan and his falling angels .But there is a spiritual Law that satan is taking advantage of in order to take man to hell as well.This spiritual Law is stated in Romans 6:16. The law state that every man is a slave to whoever he choose to obey.If you chose to obey God then you are a slave or servant of God.and if you choose to sin and obey satan,then you become a slave of satan. if you are a slave of satan,then satan has the spiritual legal right to take his slave along with him to hell.This law can work for good or bad.If we obey Jesus ,then we become a slave of Jesus.Jesus then has the legal right to take us his slave to heaven his home.the same way satan takes his own slave to hell.So Hell was created for satan and fallen angels,But satan is taking advantage of a good spiritual Law to take sinful man to hell as well.The bible said that heaven rejoices each time a sinful man turns to God.This is to tell you that it wasn't the desire of God for people to perish in hell.YOU QUESTION SHOULD BETTER BE REPHRASE TO " WHAT DOES SATAN GAIN BY TAKING PEOPLE TO HELL".
