I saw some people asking this question in the forum that what's the difference between the Android One and Android Go?

Very short and brief...

Android One is an operating system or software owned by Google. It is always given to an OEM (phone manufacturer) by Google, especially those phone maker that cannot produce their own software by themselves. So, after the phone maker makes their phone hardware, they pay Google to get Android one software at an agreed time. Google will start to push updates and security patches directly to users.

While Android Go is the lighter version of Android One that comes with pre-installed apps like Gmail GO, YouTube Go e.t.c. The Android Go is mainly for entry-level or low-end phones, to optimize their data. Moreover, Google give the Android Go software to phone makers and whenever, Google send an update, the phone maker will push it to their users. Like for Nokia to push updates to their users instead of Google itself.

So the difference between Android Go and Android One is unlike Android One, Android GO doesn't come directly from Google.
