UNDERSTANDING THE BASIC TRUTHS ABOUT PROBLEMS (3) - MARK 5: 22-24, 38, 41-42; MATTHEW 8: 5-10, 13

Today we shall conclude this study on understanding the basic truths about life’s problems

1. A problem will produce other problems unless it is solved: The woman with the issue of blood started with sickness in her body and it graduated into poverty. She spent all that she had and was not better If you were trying to solve her financial problem, you will be throwing money into a leaking bag/purse because the problem draining her finances was rooted in her health problem and it had to be solved first.

2. Different problems require different solutions, methods or steps: In Mark 5: 22-42 and Matthew 8: 5-13, Jesus laid hands on the girl in the first case as He prayed to deal with the problem. He spoke the word in dealing with the second case. In the first case, Jairus’ faith was for the Lord Jesus to come and lay His hands on his daughter. The Master responded and met him at the level of his faith. In the centurion’s case, he operated at a higher level of faith as he requested our Lord to speak the word only and the Master also responded and met him at the level of his faith.

3. Every problem has a beginning and an end: There are cases that did not start at birth in the lives of some people, though every case that people are born with has an origin. There are some people that have certain problems running in their families, and everybody born into that family inherits that problem. Such problems surely have a beginning and must be treated as such because when God made man, He didn’t make him with problems.

In Matthew 19: 8, Jesus said concerning marital problems, “It was not so from the beginning…” and every problem that man has was not so from the beginning, it came in at a point in time in the lives of people, and because it has a beginning, it must also have an end. Only God has no beginning and no end. Anything that has a beginning must have an end and that includes your problems because it has a beginning. The good end that you desire will be brought about by the power of God.

I pray for you today that God’s power will come into your life to solve every problem and stop you from being a victim of whatever negative force is in your life that has made you a patient of problems in the name of Jesus!

PRAYER: Lord, I join my faith with the prayer I have received and I know there is no distance in the spirit. I receive my healing, deliverance and divine intervention in Jesus’ name, Amen.
