God And Allah Are They The Same??? by Samogbo1(m): 9:24pm On Jul 27, 2018
Good day to all nairaland intellectuals,
Several times, I've seen and heard Muslim clerics using "God" in a phrase were "Allah" is meant to be mentioned.
...I have read books, been to different religious seminars, mixed up with theological scholars concerning their views about Allah and God.
Most times the muslim clergies don't consider the aforementioned clause(God) to be different from their belief of Allah as their supreme.
From my views and educational attainments so far, it's very glaring that GOD being acknowledged as "trinity" by its xtain adherents as opposed to Islam, cannot replace "Allah" for any reason.
Listening to a general speech delivery by both renowned Muslim veterans like Alh. Muh'd Saad Abubakar and Alh. Sanusi Lamido Sanusi who normally use the phrase interchangeably, am always confused regards to what I've already known concerning Allah and God, thus breeds the question...
Is Allah and God the same
I will appreciate the contributions of all knowledgeable persons that comes across this thread. Thanks in advance!

To answer that question , one would have to take time to study the true nature of God as revealed by the holy books :The Bible and Quran . The aim of the study is ask ourselves the question :is the God of the Bible ,and the God of the Quran one and the same ?

If we believe the God of the old testament bible is the same as the God of the new testament ,
then it is safe to say God and Allah are the same just different names.
The old testament bible, the Koran and the Torah are very much alike.

Samogbo1:Arabic-speakers of all Abrahamic faiths, including Christians and Jews, use the word "Allah" to mean "God". The Christian Arabs of today have no other word for "God" than "Allah". if an arabic christian priest is preaching he use allah in place of God.

Your Question is very Sexy, and I love Sexy Questions, but the answers are always long, because I love to lie a lot but when you investigate my lies, the truth will reveal itself.
God is an English word. And I believe that by God, you want to refer to the Almighty Creator. That is if you know that we have Creators, and we have Almighty Creator. Allah is a Creator God, so is Jehovah, so are You. Except in your case you have not yet recognized it, needless to say activate your Power as God. So, Allah and Jehovah are actually your Grand Fathers. Not just your Grand Father but our GrandFathers and Great Grand Uncles who have participated in the Game of Life and Graduated after God Realization and using those powers to create other beings like us.
The Short Answer is supposed to be: God is English adjective but used as Noun. God Allah is different from God Jehovah, if that makes it sound better and clearer, but they are not the Almighty God who Started it all.
If that is the God you are searching for, just search for 'Infinite Source' on google and start searching for Truth outside of the Bible and Koran, those books are now outdated. Use the internet and read with carefulness. You will know what is true. Follow the narrow path. Leave Religions alone, the Religions are wasting your time.
That was my lie, but your truth will come from the lies, if you take it serious.
The Truth in the Lies is: You are God in Amnesia. I know this, because I have experienced it.

According to the sumerian story, Enlil - the half brother of Enki (Lucifer) was Yahweh.
You need to first understand that the biblical & quranic stories were plagiarized from the sumerian story. If you want to know about the fraud of the Abrahamic religion, then open the link below & read from A to Z.

The God in the old testament is different from the God In the new testament is different from the God in the qoran.......
Re: God And Allah Are They The Same??? by sonmvayina(m): 11:50pm On Jul 27, 2018
Enki is not lucifer... Lucifer means light bearer.. So Lucifer has to be a "she" and not a he..
Lucifer is Inanna, the grand daughter of Enlil, she was the one who stole the MEs from Enki and thereafter was elevated to the pantheon....
She is also Mary the mother of jesus, since jesus is the light According to the gospel of John..
She rose herself... While marduk was the God of life, she was the Goddess of death.. Hence the passage in Isaiah 14

Trust me, you're wrong! Lucifer is "Father Enki - The creator of mankind". Open the link I posted above & read.
The first time I read that sumerian story in 2014, It was as if I was watching a movie - and immediately I knew where the fraudulent Abrahamic religion came from.

Allah is a proper noun while God is a common noun.
A proper noun is a specific names and common noun are not specific.
Allah is a name for the god of the Arabs . There is no god or God that does not have a name. A god must have a name.
The God of the Bible has a name. If Allah means God and is not a common noun , what then is the name of Allah ?
If "Allat" is a name of an idol then Allah is a name as well.
Allah SWT says:
أَفَرَءَيْتُمُ اللّٰتَ وَالْعُزّٰى
"So have you considered Al-Lat and al-'Uzza?"
(QS. An-Najm: Verse 19)

The real answer to your Question.... Allah is not the same as God. Allah is a Moon god while God is the Creator of Heavens and the Earth.
While "Allah" could refer to God literally, the Allah of Islam is the moon god of ancient pagan Arabia.
The Arabic word for "god" is "ilah," while "al" is the Arabic for "the." Therefore, "Allah" combines "al" with "ilah" and removes the "i" to literally means, "the god."
But much like "YHWH/Yahweh/Jehovah" is the personal name of the God of the Bible, "Allah" is also the personal name of the moon god, the chief among the three-hundred sixty pagan idols that were worshipped in Mecca, the home town of Muhammad.
Is there evidence that Islam's "Allah" is the pagan moon god of ancient Mecca?
Consider what the ancient pagan Arabians did to worship their moon god, Allah: they prayed while bowing toward K'abah, the "house of Allah" in Mecca that houses a meteorite - a rock from space - several times a day, visited it once a year, and walked around it several times during their visit. To worship their Allah today:
Kabah Hajj• Muslims pray bowing toward the K'abah (right) in Mecca five times a day.
• About two million Muslims visit Mecca every year and walk around the K'abah (the black cube, which is 40 feet tall).
• The Muslim "holy" month of Ramadan starts at the sighting of a new crescent moon.
• Perched atop churches across the world is the cross, the symbol of the sacrifice made by the God of the Bible Perched atop mosques across the world is the crescent moon the symbol of Allah whom Muhammad chose as the god of Islam.
When confronted with the details above, Muslim typically re-assert that "Allah" still means "al" + "ilah" - i.e., "the" + "god" - and is same as the God of the Bible, not the moon god of pagan Mecca. They even point out that Arabic Christian Bibles use "Allah" to refer to God.
The "Allah" in the Arabic Christian Bibles is literally "the God" and does refer to the God of the Bible. Advise Muslims that if this is really the God they are worshipping, then they should stop bowing down to a meteorite five times a day and the crescent moon should neither start their "holy" month nor top their mosques. If the "Allah" they are worshipping is genuinely the God of the Bible, then they should worship Him as the Bible instructs.

Sitchen's work is fiction.... I know he is dead and all, trust me... It is fiction..
Inanna is lucifer, she is also Aphrodite in Greeks religion, Venus in roman, ishtar in Egyptian, shiva in Indian and probably olokun in yoruba/Benin mythology.she would be Mary the mother of jesus in the Christian religion.. In earlier writing she was known as Mary lucifer I.e Mary the light bearer... Just Google it and see... Even St Anthony of padua preached about it...

If ds s d case, have u ever seen a jew or xtain using Allah interchangeably regards to their supreme belief?
Re: God And Allah Are They The Same??? by Samogbo1(m): 12:51pm On Jul 28, 2018
Like u clearly stated above, if God-Allah is really different from God-Jehovah. Then y do d likes of Imam Tawhidi, Sa'ad Abubakar n Sanusi Lamido keep using a single phrase of "God" to express their Supreme Allah
Re: God And Allah Are They The Same??? by Samogbo1(m): 1:05pm On Jul 28, 2018
Bruh, I believe you are a xtain. I will advice u do a deep research on who xtains refer as God.
Let me help u a bit...
In a nutshell, xtains generally refer to God as a three-in-one god(God d father, the son and the Holy spirit, thus "TRINITY), on the other hand, Islam doesn't accept the idea of Trinity also disagree with d immaculate conceptn of ur Jesus Christ(The son of God).
With dis few points, hope u can relate that ur xtain view of God is far different from there's, thus why do Muslim top clerics keep using God instead of "Allah" in public presentations

Samogbo1:a question for muslims. The root question is what is God. Note my use of the word 'what' not 'who'

Some of them are ignorant that Ishtar is an archetypical aspect of Allah, and that Jehovah is different from Allah. Some are mischievous are bent on deceiving humans.

Samogbo1:i said in arab countries, if they are to preach in their native language, we speak english in nigeria hence their is no neeed using allah, the muslems also use allah during prayer because the Quran is in written in arabic. so should they want to use english they use the world God.
The below is a screenshot of an arabic christian bible, despicting genesis 1, observe the highlighted text, that is allah ﺍﻟﻠﻪ. you can go through the bible through the link below.

In a layman understanding...
Here in nairaland, if u type Aboki (referring to a northern fellow), nairaland bots automatically converts the "aboki" to "Northerner" cos d literal meaning of aboki has been maligned by doz of us d southerners.
This can be likened to d subject of discourse above...
To a xtain, Allah can nvr be God, to a Muslim God and Allah are d same but they fail to admit d literal connotations da xtains attributed to the word God. To me, this doesnt add up.

You have been given comprehensive answers already. Except you did not notice.
God = English
Allah = Arabic
All mean the same thing which is the Supreme entity (the creator)
Where the difference is with both Christian and Muslim God/Allah.
The Islamic God/Allah is not the christians God/Allah.
According to the bible "Those who worship God/Allah must worship in spirit and in truth". You can't claim to worship God/Allah and bow to a black stone from the sky 5 times a day.
Who or what God/Allah is differs when it comes to both faiths.
