The hype of having one or two skills is what most parents do tell their children these days
For instance, my uncle has clippers and instead of going to the barber, he prefers me barbing his hair

If one of his clothes gets worn out, he prefers amending it himself instead of going to the tailor

If there's a burst in one of the pipes in the house, he prefers buying glue to fix it instead of calling the plumber
