What Do We Mean by Network Security? Network security consists of the policies and practices adopted to prevent and monitor unauthorized access, misuse, modification, or denial of a computer network and network-accessible resources. It secures the network, as well as protecting and overseeing operations being done.


Network security is any activity designed to protect the usability and integrity of your network and data. It includes both hardware and software technologies. Effective network security manages access to the network. It targets a variety of threats and stops them from entering or spreading on your network.


What Is the Aim? Our target is to increase knowledge sharing. This will also enable us to engage with members of the public who want to participate in our activities.

Who Is Invited? Anyone aged 16 and above; who is involved or has an interest in Network Security. Curious minds are also invited – You don’t have to be a math whiz.
