Got me first Android device last week. HTC Desire  It's a brilliant device and it'd running the Eclair (Android 2.1) It's pretty stable running all the apps but it hangs a couple of times whilst using Yahoo messenger. What are your favourite applications? |

Got the HTC desire too. I agree it's brilliant but battery life lets it down a bit. As per the Yahoo messenger, mine hangs too but I got Ebuddy and that works just fine- Even better than the Messenger app. I don't have many apps yet but my favourite as to be the IMDb app. I'm a movie buff and it's just brilliant. |

I have a HTC Desire as well - Love it love it - I believe that this phone is far better than an iphone - love the fact the you can customise the screens and put anything you like my only grude is the battery and in the internal data storage space. |

blacksta:If you update your firmware to 2.2 (Froyo) from 2.1 (Eclair) it will allow you to install apps directly to SD card thus freeing up space in your internal memory |
