Problems Facing Nurses. by Davidchibex(op): 5:50pm On Oct 17, 2018
Violence is a prominent case that nurses have to face beside abuse.Nursing personnel are reorganised as being at higher risk of abuse and violence at work place. In fact, nurses are more likely to be attacked at work than prisoners.82% of nurses don't feel safe from assault.Often the problem comes from the patient who are on drug or who have been drinking or who are under depression or who are affected by grief..the most bitter section is that Nurses have a minimal monthly take home.Three out of five nurses feel they are under paid and so many have considered leaving the profession while some engage on a second job to make ends meet.Death of patient can have a great depressing effect on nurses.Ability to tolerate is what defined the quality of a good nurse.
Nevertheless,Nursing is an everlasting profession. So long as humanity exist, there will always be a need for caring, compassion and understanding. No matter the growth of technology, no machine can ever replace a nurse's touch and compassion.
The world should be grateful to all the attention given and sacrifices made by millions of nurses around the world, without whom hospital stay would certainly be less pleasant if not impossible.
