Delayed Flight by jackwack(op): 2:49pm On Oct 19, 2018
My flight from Manchester to Hong Kong was delayed due to some engine problems. It was supposed to depart at 9 AM. Its new scheduled time is 3.30 PM so I've started looking at what to do if it gets even more delayed. Can anyone suggest me what I can do?

How are you sure, it's an EU registered airline?

See Your flight was originated from Europe and it was delayed due to technical problems. So you are certainly eligible for compensation if it was delayed by more than 3 hours at the arrival. You can write a claim letter by yourself to the respective airlines. You can also download the letter template from various websites like this one, I have already found one for you ( https://www.claimflights.com/flight-delay-compensation/sample-letter ), do use it and send a letter to the airline.
