Automobiles are one of the most prevalent means of transportation in the present world and with the progress of time and enhancement of scientific technologies, various newer and innovative models of cars have emerged. Smart cars are one of the recent innovations in the field of automobile engineering, just like other smart devices like smart phones, smart TVs and smart watches, smart cars are unique because it makes use of artificial intelligence or AI for its functioning, these smart cars are more dependent on networking technology. With the official launch of the 5G network in most parts of the developed world in 2019 data processing and connectivity will take wireless speed to a whole new level. This will lead to the formation of smart cars having certain features like lane departure warning system, project AWAKE for lethargic drivers and Autonomous Cruise Control, including wireless battery monitoring technology for hybrid cars.
