The Minster for Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi, has told his supporters and members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers State not to expect any change in the state unless his party is returned to power in 2019. Amaechi, a former Governor of Rivers State, said his supporters will not make benefits from the party unless the APC came out victorious in the 2019 general elections. He urged them to mobilise and register more voters for the APC to ensure victory for the party in the 2019 general elections. Amaechi, the Minister of Transportation, said this on Saturday, during a ward-to-ward sensitisation visit tagged ‘Operation show your PVC’, to communities in Ikwerre Local Government Area of the state. The Minister said the only way to benefit from government was to elect good leaders. He Said, “You people need to work hard because, if we don’t win you, will not get any benefit. The day we win, is the day we should expect change in Rivers State. “When we win, we will focus more on bettering the lots of our people because I believe that things should change. “The only way to effect that change is to go to your various units and wards and commence new registration of members and I expect the new members to have their voters’ cards; that is the tool you will use to remove bad leaders,” he said. https://wiki9ja.com.ng/gists/dont-expect-change-in-rivers-state-unless-apc-wins-amaechi 1 Share

Ameachi employed 13+ teachers,Gave above 2000 rivers indigene both local and foriegn scholarship.build over 300 model primary and secondary schools.,over 250 primary health centres,constructed many major roads |

kcmichael:You forgot to add * Amaechi refused to pay players of Sharks and Dolphins now Rivers United for 3months before leaving office *Amaechi refused to pay refuse contractors there by leaving the state dirty for Wike *Amaechi closed the judiciary and made sure it remained closed so that the expected CJ of the state wud have retired. *Amaechi asked members of the Assembly loyal to him to hold their sessions in govt house instead of the assembly complex. *Amaechi and his croonies looted the properties in govt house before leaving and didn't hand over properly. *Amaechi boasted that he wud see how Wike will pay salaries after looting the monies he said he was saving for the state. (1billion monthly) *Amaechi paid 100% to a contractor for a hospital in Greater Port Harcourt. The hospital didn't see the light of the cos as I write, there is not one block at the site.
