Time is verily of the essence Same is irreversibly spent and gone Without anyone's consent or reference But what will surely last is what is done Time is ironically patient A good friend of the wise and diligent And though it prefers to be slow(but steady) The folly and lazy is still always-never-ready Time is certainly invaluable A precious gift,free for all and sundry Build a future today while you are still capable So that tomorrow you won't wallop in sheer penury |
