The decoder is not physically old but there is a newer version now.

Lol! Ojuju can't leave in my domain. I am wondering if it is a system error or something. It might have happened to someone here before.

Decoders are programmed to do regular updates at night.

This could have been the cause of what happened since it wasn't switched off.

Softwares have bugs. OP should write this as a one-off situation. It has passed and no harm befell you or the decoder so continue with life.
