- 2012/2013 Model, so you can hardly get new one
- Knock-offs from Asia, from an (un)known company.

New Laptops cost way more than that, and it all depends on the specs

A good battery life like 4+ hours

And make sure the processor speed is above 2.20. GHz

That's true but a lot of amd system sucks those high end one are hard to find in Nigeria market what we have here are mostly China substandard ones

You're right about this. Of late however, AMD's stepped up its game with ryzen, threadripper and more see https://www.pcgamesn.com/amd-surpass-intel-cpu-performance-2019

Unfortunately, it's unlikely systems with AMD's new CPUs will be available in the Nigerian market right now.

So going with intel's a good choice for now.

For basic programming,any system will do. Hdd size doesnt matter. Neither does ram. 10 gig hdd (u wont find systems with such small drives anyway. But just saying),1-2 g ram is okay. Y do i say so. You wont b writting code that could fill up 2mb of space anytime soon,talkless of gigs. For ram, if you're doing just basic tasks,programming,it's okay.
So that's d minimum. You can go up from there. For android and serious web developmnt you need more RAM,like 4g min,8 better. 16 preferred. 32g - super. 32 or 64 bit? Go for 64.

as you can see the base clock speed is 1.60GHz
The T versions would start at base 2.3 GHz and the regular version around 3.4 GHz or so
There are often incremented like so but dont let it bother you too much. There is more to it than the U or even the 4 which stands for 4th generation

Check device manager [you can Google how to check it for your operating system] and it will show you all hardware available for your machine
including bluetooth or not.
The first one is the base speed, 1.60GHz and the second one is the boost speed aka turbo boost: 2.3GHz which mean
when under strenous task, your processor will turbo boost to that speed, to deliver more power, for a short while though
If it stays at turboboost for long, it will limiting itself by clocking down, so it doesnt burn out
if you check system performance and your processor is always turbo-boosting with minimal workload, it's a sign that you need to upgrade, either the generation
or better still, the model. ie. i5 => i7 etc

it is a U processor oooooo...am I safe?
