Sequel to the flag off of exercise Egwu Eke (python dance)(III) by chief of army staff Lt Gen. TY Buratai on the 8th January 2019,troops of the 8 division of the Nigeria Army on patrol ran into a group of hoodlums causing mayhems,extorting and threating the lives of citizens along Sokoto-Gusau road. Seven if them were being arrested and were being profiled.

The suspects are;
Auwulu Shehu,32 years old
Murtala Garba,41 years
Jamilu Bello,30 years
Musa Abubakar,32 years
Aliyu Abubakar,29 years
Zayyanu Aliyu,28 years
Bashir Sarkinpawa,27 years.

Weapons recovered are;
Five machetes,
two knives,
one trye ream,
two catapults,
two long sticks(Gora) and
sizeable numbers of stones
