A car that is difficult to start is not a life-threatening malfunction, but it can be annoying and difficult to move around. Think of jumping into the car, turning the key to the ignition, but it just combs a few times. Frustrating, right? Well, there may be several reasons why the car has trouble starting it, and you need to check all the fuel system for the starter to find out the culprit.

6 THINGS THAT MAKES THE CAR DIFFICULT TO START

These problems mainly occur during the winter season because the cold temperature affects the car in different ways. Especially if you park outdoors on a cold night, you may find it difficult to start the car in the morning.

1) LOW FUEL
The fuel tank must be full or at least half full during the colder months. Low temperatures make it easier to compact a small amount of fuel than a full tank. If the oil level falls too low, the fuel hose may freeze due to condensation water, which prevents the fuel from being distributed to the engine. The result is the difficulty of starting a car in the cold morning.

2) THICK OIL
Fuel can be thicker for two reasons - low temperature and oil change at the recommended time. As you know, fluid cannot flow quickly if it is condensed. In this case, the motor must rotate a lot to start, because a lot of oil cannot reach the fuel line and the engine. The oil filter should also be replaced regularly if you do not want the car to be difficult to start. It grabs dirt and particles over time, and these things can get into the oil and engine and gradually infect them.

3) SLOW BATTERY

Cold start problems are most common when the car is started in winter. Extreme cold can also affect battery performance. It produces electrons through chemical reactions, but the process slows down at low temperatures. As a result, it produces less electrons and feeds less than enough energy to the trigger. This obviously causes the car to struggle to start. The same problem can also occur with a worn-out battery.

4) BAD STARTER
The function of the car starter is to use the car battery power. After inserting the key in the ignition switch and turning it on, the starter starts the engine so that the piston creates a suction circuit for the fuel and air mixture in the cylinder. A bad starter is one of the reasons that the car has trouble getting started that you can't avoid. In the initial stage, the starter motors wear out and suffer. It is advisable to check the starter when nothing happens after turning the ignition switch, or the car turns slowly with a dim line.

5) ABSENCE OF SOLENOID
As a cylindrical yarn coil, the solenoid is a component that connects the connection and allows current to flow from the battery to the trigger. That's why your car struggles to start if the solenoid is broken or worn. If there is no sound from the starter when the key is turned, it is very important that the solenoid is bad. The inspection process is simple, you can only test whether the battery is running on a stream. Make sure the battery is in good condition. Starter Diagnosis helps you determine if there is a problem with the engine or solenoid. If one is defective, you must replace it.

6) WORN IGNITION SWITCH
It is one of the most common reasons that a car is difficult to start with. Because it tends to deteriorate over time, you have to replace it when it stops working. If the switch feels hot to the touch, there must be a problem with wiring. However, before you spend a lot of money on switching the ignition switch, you need to make a thorough diagnosis of what causes the worn ignition switch. Heavy key chains are at the forefront of this problem. For a long time, keeping the heavy and memorial chains safe will certainly wear the ignition switch. We recommend that you keep your car key in a separate chain.
