Some of my client do make the complain of small rooms in foundation but after German floor they will see the difference.
Mine looks so tiny.

I needed a large sitting room, large masters and large kitchen. Other rooms can be moderate. Can you help look at the floor plan to see if it's possible to tell if the rooms would look big with the dimension given

God has been faithful. Foundation is coming up well. I notified my site engineer I needed a high foundation as it adds beauty to any house. Was pleased with the pace of the job as Laterite was on ground today to fill it up. Was displeased with the sizes of the room, bathroom and kitchen as they looked small. Although wifey said they'd look bigger whe walls are raised up but I already notified the site engineer that there'd be rectification after the German floor has been done.

Ogas in the house, do foundation rooms look smaller than the actual sizes ?

Work has begun on the site. We've started the digging but couldn't do the casting during the weekend as we has small issue about workers charge fee which made work to start late. My Engineer is advising that we get workers from the East as labor is quite expensive in Benin.
For the labrorer pay which included carpenter and iron bender i was charged 900k to reach parafet level.

My Engineer insists we get workers from the East to reduce cost.

Below are pics of work in progress

*Update
So far I've been able to mould 1523 blocks. My Engineer has been "dulling" me and delaying when foundation would start. Hopefully foundation should commence by this coming week with a "no retreat, no surrender pace of work. I'm hopeful it turns out well and God provides so work could be completed

The price for block making is usually around N800 average, providing that they will get very strong blocks.
Thanks

Good day nairaland good people. I'm gearing up to start up foundation on a 50*100. By the Grace of God I'd be giving updates on the process stage by stage

Moulding blocks will commence tomorrow as my engineer also advised 1500 blocks (500 - 9inches and 1000 - 6inches)
Total of 50 bags of cement was given to give 1500 bags.
Moulders will be taking N800 per bag on 6" blocks and N900 on 9" blocks. Please advise if this rate for moulders is okay. I really don't know much about building

Location: Benin City
Thanks in anticipation
