"May you not be a victim of a set up." That was the prayer tortoise prayed for the monkey that he ignored, putting up a show of arrogance that he had no need of such prayer. Since he wouldn't be persuaded to say amen to the prayer, because he thought himself immune against such, cunning tortoise devised a means to teach him a lesson. He got bean cake spiced with honey and took it to the lion to eat. To achieve his mischievous intent, he didn't give the already salivating lion enough of the honey-spiced bean cake to eat. He told the lion if he wanted more, the monkey had a factory of it. "It's the excreta of the monkey you just ate," he lied to him. " If this is the excreta of the monkey, and it is this tasty, I had better paid him a visit," the lion said. Tortoise encouraged him not to delay. The lion was soon at the house of the monkey. When the lion told the monkey the reason for his visit, the monkey was perplexed. Thinking the monkey was pretending, he hopped on the monkey and gave him some heavy blows on his belly. The monkey excreted but to the dismay of the lion, it was tasteless. Thinking the monkey was proving stubborn, he rained him heavier blows until he excreted and there was no more to excrete. Of course, the lion had been deceived by tortoise so that he could teach the monkey some lesson.

Inspired by Ebenezer Obey's lyrics...
"Oro akoba oba maje kari(2ce)/won ni ki obo se amin lojosi o n se faari/o su dundun/o su opo/o su dundun/o tun wa su olomi sororo."
