1966 Military head of state Gen J.T.U Ironside (centre) with governors(L-R): Usman Katsina (North), Adekunle Fajuyi (West), Emeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu (East) and David Ejoor (Midwest) in Lagos. David Ejoor the longest surviving of these pictured has died on Sunday 10th February, 2019. He was 87.

Two fell to the bullet, three died naturally.

All benefitted from the first coup. Two from the second and one given early retirement from the army because of the third coup.

May their souls find peace.
