pls nairalanders am just a young guy that just finish his nysc recently and i need a job as a programmer i dont want to be working all round submiting cv of what i majored on in the univeraity i want to work as a programmer although i havent worked in any big project but i am currently working on one right now in which i update it regularly on my github page even i can work comfortably with html,css,boostrap,nodejs and mongodb(using mongoose) help me dont want to stay idle at home i want use my skills thanks

After service, I submitted a lot of applications online, I was called for interviews and after that, I got a job not too long.
So my candid advice is for you to apply online on jobberman, etc. Then prepare very well for interviews.
I noticed that passing interview questions can be different from just your regular coding. So go online and answer interview questions for practice. Try pluralsight IQ.

be prepared for all type of interview questions. I didn't do much of Algorithm.
