Please, I need professional advice (no insults I beg you).

I have a BSc in Mathematics and currently working in the public sector as a data analyst. I wish to go for my postgraduate studies and currently on a crossroad on the best course to choose between MSc Computer Science (Database Systems) and MSc Financial Mathematics.

As a data analyst, a study in database systems will enhance my knowledge in the job (but remember in public sector no position is permanent, a transfer may come at any time perhaps resulting to change in job function). Also, I learnt that graduates of Database Systems are mostly sought for abroad (in case we need to find greener pastures ).

I considered doing financial mathematics as I have observed that DGs and some appointments in most public agencies and positions must have a background in either Economics, Accounting or Finance; and financial mathematics is the easiest way for me to switch into that career line and make me eligible for such appointments in the future considering my BSc background.

Experienced nairalanders and career advisers please advice me on the course that has better prospects considering my circumstance and ambition.
