Leaders of Today

“A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.” ~ John C. Maxwell

Irrespective of how you define it, a leader is someone who sets direction, builds an inspiring vision, and creates something new.

A good, effective leader is a person of integrity, confidence and motivation, who is passionate, creative and knowledgeable about doing the right things in the right ways.

It is a well known fact that leaders are made, not born. As such, capacity building is key to the making of leaders.

This is the drive behind the series of lectures on
critical thinking, positive value system, positive mindset, and patriotism, organised by the BEMORE Summer Bootcamp for Girls, delivered by Mrs Peggy Anigbogu and Mrs Bukky Femi-Ajala, leadership experts from the Institute for National Transformation.

Nigeria is in dire need of effective leaders who can change the narrative. With this bootcamp, through STEM education, skill acquisition, mentoring, balanced diet, and physical/mental exercises, the BEMORE girls are being groomed to become effective leaders, not just of tomorrow, but of today.

It is the University of Life, a leadership breeding ground where our nation is being transformed, one girl at a time.
