The op is a very wicked human. Americans would never even pay u 2naira per word for financial articles - such a technical industry . Most would legit pay up to $25-$100 for 500 words. I know this cus I used to freelance on fiverr years backs and I know how those folks pay hugely if you know your onions well and you are niched.

Some people who do this job have received as much as 3 naira for other projects. It depends on what client is willing to pay.

I also feel like I'm being ripped off by the person I got the contract from. But then, I realized too that it's all in the mind.

Better to have 4k daily amounting to at least 120k monthly for just paraphrasing than waiting for big dollar clients.

If you feel outraged, instead of cussing and throwing invectives over an arrangement you have no idea of, just walk past.

I would want to copy that person's work and change the wordings such that it still makes sense. That way, the examiner won't know that I copied from the most brilliant person in my class. This is a daily, long-term and consistent job.
The pay is 600 naira per 1000 word. If you give yourself a target of writing at least three to four thousand words daily, that's 12,000 naira weekly.

You can at least make it 1k per 1k words. I used to work for this guy one time while I was in sch and I enjoyed working with him.
The least I made a week was 25k.
It's really not beans rewriting, actually if you ask me, rewriting is a lot more tedious than just writing.
