1) Coolant / Anti freeze check. If dirty, drain and replace. 2) Tyre pressure check. If low, pump up to required volume. 3) Screen wash check. Top-up if low. 4) Windscreen wiper blade check. If worn / torn, of does not wipe screen effectively, replace. 5) Warning triangle and jack / wheel brace. Must be in good shape. 6) Can of de-icer must be in trunk. If missing, replace. 7) Ice scraper.  First aid kit. Must contain the basics, plasters, bandages etc.9) Spare wheel. Must be serviceable, or if your car doesn't have one (like most new BMW's) your electric pump and tyre foam. 10) Lastly, warm travel blanket. You never know when you might need one, invaluable if you get stuck in snow, and need to await recovery. You can make your emergency kit as comprehensive as you like, but these are the basic items, no motorist should be missing these! |

@ Siena, Sorry this is off topic but needed to get ur urgent attention. There are no contact details on your profile. Just needed to know your charge for converting a Rover 600 (probably the 618 i or 620) from RHD to LHD. Will this be cheaper if I choose to convert both (there are actually cars).
