Dear Muslim ummah, Anyone with valid Hadith/ayat should tell how we can greet our parents. Have had of some people who kicked against kneeling down and prostrating if it is not permitted why did Allah (SWT) said all angel and iblis should bow for Adam after their test of knowledge and also banish for disobeying. |

Elate28:You can't compare Allah's command to humans. Anything Allah commands must be done. The Angels' prostration to Adam was an act of obedience in the part of the Angels. Now did Allah ask you to prostrate for any elders? I will ellaborate later in shaa Allah |

The way people greet is rather a cultural thing. Every culture has a way of greeting and paying obeisance to the elderly. Life must not necessarily be viewed from the arabian (islamic) lense. |
