Diamond bank was the 2nd most classy Nigerian bank after GT Bank IMO. They had good corporate and welfare structure too. They over exposed themselves to micro unsecured loans . . and apparently some off shore facilities. Access is very desperate and wild, i don't like them at all. It's a shame DB messed up that good brand, what a shame. 5 Likes |

lloyds: I totally agree with you. I remember when i wanted to open another account for saving, i was contemplating Access, I ended up opening another account with Diamond. I don't like access one bit, and I've told them already. 1 Like |

This merger that looks as if the two banks just woke up one day and decided to announce merging. Their customers have been suffering it at the ATMs especially during the weekends. You will try to use a diamond bank card on an access bank ATM and you will see 'financial institution not available' or ' switch or issuer inoperative' and most times it will still pay access cards right before you. The queues at their ATM's these days can be soo annoying. Who never chop belleful, go dey carry another person for back. Merging no be by force naa |
