The doctor said it's Swollen Lymph Nodes.

She have been on drugs for more than 2 weeks.... Her body used to be hot... But the drugs subdued it.. It's just that she is still feeling the pain within that region and that stuff refuse to disappear

Check out my last comment sir... We have been to two different hospital (s).....she is my neighbor's daughter and she is so dear to me... That's why am trying to reach out to medical practitioners here on Nairaland

I don't derive any joy in putting up a thread like dx.... It's just a matter of urgency since life is involved

please take her to a good hospital. preferably a federal hospital.

Did they run tests?...or was it the kind doctors that do eye scan?...just look at the swelling and determined the cause and solution? She needs to go to a hospital and have it tested. My neighbor had the same problem... the swelling got bigger and bigger... and after his breathing got affected he was taken to hospital.... diagnosed as cancerous... was cut ... gutted... and before the cut could heal... it began popping up again... was cut a second time leaving him with a big X scar on his neck. It didn't pop up again.... but his breathing got wayyy worse... he was dragging air. Tests reveal the cancer had moved down his ehmmm.... air tubes and had already destroyed most of one lung. He is no longer with us.
Maybe it is not cancerous.... but .... should make egery effort to find out the root cause.. and the solution. Go to another hospital... one that will do extensive tests.

Like you said before.. The doctor in the first hospital went went to did eye test.

The second one carried out some test but referred us to another place.... He prescribed drugs for us which she took and the pains subdued a bit cos she use to Have all dx night fever matters.

Take this child to see a paediatrician in a teaching hospital. It may be a cancer. Some cancers like leukaemia and lymphoma start this way.
