The first time I heard the word Python, I thought I was going to be dealing with a snake.

Alas!, I was wrong.

Python is an interpreted, high-level, general-purpose programming language. Created by Guido van Rossum and first released in 1991, Python's design philosophy emphasizes code readability with its notable use of significant white-space.

When I first began to teach computer programming languages, some persons wanted to learn Python programming language.

I usually advise them to start with a programming language that is simple to learn and master.

This is because the teaching and learning process will be easy and smooth.

In today's programming world, Python programming language has begun to compete very well with Java programming language and is now on high demand
