Hello Nigerians and Nairalanders.

I just saw this video from ABC News informing that there's been a virus outbreak in China and that the virus is spreading and capable of being transmitted from human to human possible through coming in contact with an infected person.

There's been recorded deaths from the virus and it's spreading to other parts of Asia.

All travelers to and from that region should beware and our health authorities should take note before we have another disaster.

Should the Nigerian government not have placed a travel ban on China till the issue is sorted out first.

At least, lets act as if we have a standard sef.

Becos if it's the other way round, China would have placed a ban on us.

An outright ban may be too severe... What the government can do is raise awareness and ensure people coming into the country from those places where the virus has spread to are properly screened at the airport and other points of entry into the country
