Beneath my heavy eye,

My tears concealed with awry smile,

On this paper you could see my pen cries,

As sadness crisscrossed my heart in heavy lines.





Life playing out a script of my ugly past,

While hoping for success in my crepuscular hours,

Thinking of serving myself and humanity without being biased,

When it seems am lacking that skills and panache.





Thinking of the joy I derived from disturbing my ink,

But every work is a futile attempt at savouring what had been,

The agony of it effortlessly usurping the joy of the success have seen
,
Killing every optimistic thought have had in me,




Am writing this to whom I believed in,

Hear my cries ,turn my defeat to victories
,
In the race of fulfilment, pls fulfil me,

Let your grace be the words that define me




As I lay my head on my mat

Prayers,cries,meditation all serves as condiment in bearing out my mind,

The guiding angel assigned with the task of guiding me through this night
