pls i need your assistance, I need to write a batch program(or otherwise) that  will print specific rows in an excel sheet containing several rows with each column rep a unique field - s.no.,name,amount,naration,etc.
i.e. it retrieves a particular name in the record.

this is a simple problem na.

then solve it.

thats a simple thing i can use vb6.0 and connect it it to d database and write some programms
