well, i think this has prolly been discussed before, but

I would like to get back into the web development world after a break of one year, i recognize i dont have  some essential skill sets such as flash or mobile development of apps. So i wondered if i could search online for a database of nigerian web developers with individual skill sets,  i came up with

AND

http://webmastersofafrica.com well. it looks alrite, but all i could see was like a business directory of various web businesses and names,  and no portfolio link or pictures displayed without having to visit the site or pictures of the freelancers themselves,  and the site does not seem to have much traffic and the forum looks really dry it would be nice to have a community of freelancers with specific expertise in skills such as flash, css, UI  etc,  and i know are site was launched somewhile ago in this forum and it was disappointingly just an SMF site, AGAIN!!! it would be good to have something such as crunch base.

SOLUTION? would it not be good if we could launch a cloud based development of such a site ( non profit) pro bono, programming designing and stuff? well, any ideas? startup community? like http://www.startupsnigeria.org? well, or does such a site already exist? if it does can you post the link? Thanks
