2. You must make sure they enter atleast 5 characters long for username and password.
3. you should creat a login page.
4. you should create a secure page were visitor can only see the page content if logged in.
5. create a log out page.
6. user should be able to update there information.

Am currently handling a major project, its a secondary school result portal. were students can check their result from the portal or website as the case maybe. Am a good designer, knows how to use css, html,flash, little php, mysql,

I just finished working on a solution you just mentioned, i used all the langs u specified up there, but used flex builder 3.0 for the flash,
and wrote a vb 6.0 customized browser for the project. I am deploying the project tomorow.

And by the way, my own solution works with both intranet / internet. I can help you out with some ideas without
leaking trade secrets, buuuut, i can definitely not post such on this board. . .
