Vote To Split Sudan Starts, When Will Nigeria Do The Same? by bigdoo(op): 4:37pm On Jan 10, 2011
Sudan starts voting to split the country into two between the north (mainly moslems) and south (mainly Christians). The set up is just like what we have in Nigeria. It is obvious that where-ever there are moslems and Christians, the moslems will never feel happy and comfortable. Hence there are always violence, killings, corruption etc. Nigeria needs to vote on splitting the country into two, the south for the Christians and the north for the moslems just as Gadaffi had said. I think that the big shots in Nigeria don't want that to happen because of the present oil wealth of the country, which they are looting with wreckless abandon. Splitting the country into two will benefit the common man but will not benefit the big shots mainly those from the north. This accounts for the reason why the north always want to be at the helm of political positions in the country and would want to rule the country indefinitely. They always cause trouble whenever they find someone from the south particularly the south-east or south-south, the Ibo speaking areas is in power. I think that we should vote to split the country into two to stop all the senseless killings, bombings and intimidation by the north. Moslems and Christians don't usually mix.
