A man and his dog are on opposite sides of a river .
The river is 10 km long and 100 meters wide.
The dog crossed over to the other side of the river within approximately 5 minutes to meet its owner without getting wet and without using a boat.
How did the dog do it ?

I would post the answer here. In case no one gets it . Its quite easy actually.

Someone on the other side probably carried the dog and crossed over to the owner's side or the river parted or the dog took flight.

Just saying, biko say the answer already.

Both of them were beside the river( which is dry land) opposite each other. So he crossd on dry land to meet his master. Everything occurred at the side of the river

They were standing on opposite sides of Chicago's frozen river or any river that gets frozen during winter.The dog calmly walks or runs across the ice.
