I just keep wondering how NCDC gets its samples for testing COVID-19. I know at the initial outbreak, contact tracing was done to get samples, but now I dont know.

Please someone should educate me.

There are testing centres in all local government areas in Lagos state. Test is done on those who have any symptoms of Covid-19 like high temperature, fever, cough and respiratory infection.
Majority of tests is conducted on those who happen to be contacts of any confirmed case. Though, the testing centres also record and conduct tests on volunteers that wish to be tested for Covid-19 but this is based on fulfilment of guidelines for testing .
It will interest you to know that many testing centres are utterly empty as people are reluctant to be tested and this has given rise to skepticism and conspiracy on the updates for this pandemic. Lagos is said to be conducting more that 1000 tests daily.

Every thing about covid-19 in nigeria,are all lies and cases imaginary..we started lockdown with brazil on february 27th.with world class measures applied.yet they have been burying in their hundreds till date.
