The Southeast zone is working hard to produce a replacement for Dr. Okwesilieze Nwodo, who resigned as National Chairman on Tuesday, the PDP’s acting national chairman said. Those being considered to replace Nwodo are: Chief Anyim Pius Anyim (Ebonyi).former President of the Senate, Maduekwe (Abia State); Former National Vice-Chairman (South-East) former National Secretary and one-time Foreign Minister Mr. Olisa Metuh (Anambra); National Vice-Chairman (Southeast) Chief Fidelis Ozichukwu (Imo State); former National Vice-Chairman (Southeast) How do you all feel about these choices?

To be honest, I like Chief Anyim Pius Anyim and I think he deserves this position the most. This man has a proud track record of standing up for what he believes to be right. And he was one of the best Senate presidents we ever had in Nigeria. |

@OP If this postulation is based on the PDP zoning formula, it is a wishful thinking because GEJ has destroyed the spirit of zoning in PDP. I hope Nigeria should as well do away with quota system. |
