In the death of the night;
Where silence and darkness king the Earth.
My adversaries turned my mind into a battle ground;
Forcing sleep out of my teary eyes,
While singing the dirge of my yesterday failures.
In a mocking voice, it reminded me of how lonely I have become;
None to call family, and no one to be a friend.
When it seems my calls to heaven was barred,
There was none to call heaven on my behalf;
None praying for me!
Like a wind fighting with the waters.
I heard mama voice calling my name.
I saw her tears falling from the cloud of her eyes,
As she stood on her knees, knocking on heavens gate.
She carried me in her prayers, like a post man about to deliver a letter.
She ain't giving up, untill heaven smile on her son.
